Jean-Joseph Goux

Jean-Joseph Goux is professor of French Studies at Rice University, Houston, Texas. In 1989 he published a text about money in the French revue Communications. The title was "Cash, Check or Charge". This essay analyzed the representational systems given in different forms of analogical money. We asked Jean-Joseph Goux to base himself on his earlier text and to enlarge it towards electronic money: "La Cybermonnaie ou les doigts de la main invisible" This text is available in Dutch and French versions.
